I really don't know where to post this, please move it if necessary!
I have my qemu-machines set up by individual scripts, started using init.d; in within a settings file I have specified this individual usb-drive to be picked up by the machine when started, that way it is released from my host-os to be found by the guest os - and this works well and always have - however, when the virtual machine is shut down it should release the usb-drive and be automatically "found" by my host-os again, and pop-up in nautilus, but it doesn't do that. It did before my reinstallation (went back to rc from trying systemd)
By then fdisk -l does no longer show the usb-drive, and I will have to eject it physically and insert it again in order to mount it.
I am wondering what might cause this.. and of course how to fix it. |
