I followed the installation proceedures for Gentoo and it recommended emerging "syslog-ng". After emerging it and going through the rest of the installation, I then rebooted the machine and during boot upit says that I need to have a "syslog-ng.conf" file. Can anyone please tell me what I need to put in this files when creating it. Thanks!

I believe you will find a 'syslog-ng.conf.example' in your /etc/syslog-ng directory. just make acopy of this to /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf and you should be fine. Can't remember right now, but I don't think I made any changes to the file.
