Hi,
has anybody boot the gentoo live-cd ?
I tried the g2server and the mini-cd on 2 boxes.
Pentium 4 / IDE and Pentium 3 / Laptop (nothing special)
and the boxes are booting from CD. Linux starts up and I got
a black screen. Thats all.
I can read the live-cds and I burned the cd from the iso-image
as I always do.
Any idea.

Try holding down the shift key as it boots,
Hold it until you see the menu and then try:
svga acpi=off
Once its installed add "acpi=off to the lilo.conf file |
