cflags for my notebook im getting, need info

hey, im getting a notebook in a few weeks, and i plan on getting one with an athlon-mp...so in my desktop i have an athlon-xp and this is what im using for my cflag...

and so i was wondering for my athlon-mp if i could just take the "-march=athlon-xp" line and change it to "-march=athlon-mp"

It will work.
athlon-xp and athlon-mp use the same instruction set.


ps. the -mp means it is approved for multiprocessor use.
