try to perform the above colde listing 24 3 times now and it always fail with a long list of errors. Below are the last 5 lines of the error.
fs/fs.o:In function 'xfs_inactive':
fs/fs.o(.text+0x9fe4c):undefined reference to 'dm_send_namesp_event'
make[1]:***[kallsyms] Error1
make[1]:Leaving directory '/usr/src/linux-2.4.18-xfs'
make:***[vmlinux] Error 2
What is wrong? Have tried emerge sys-kernel in /usr/src/inux directory but that doesn't work also. Thanks. |

Thanks, got it working. Have use ext3 instead, not going to rebuild 'cos I installing on a slow pc ppro 200 only. Took the pc 20+ hrs to download and compile. But I'am satisfied with it.
But there is one problem, after reboot and login as root. I try to startx, and it say command not found, do a find and found command not in my hdd. But I do find some x command in my /sbin directory. So, how do I start my X windows. Thanks. |
