I'm using Kernel 2.6 and the latest nvidia drivers. I finally managed to get the nvidia drivers to work on my machine, however, the system freezes whenever I exit X-Windows. I've already tried to enable and disable AGPart, enable and disable nvidia's agp support and disable powermanagement (acpi=off and kernel compile without acpi).
I guess I could need some help (again). Any ideas? Small hints? Suggestions? Anything please
(I could live with the freeze, but the problem is that X/KDE sometimes even fails to write it's settings (I asume the cache has not been dumped to HDD before the system freezes). Reconfiguring X every now and then is not really that funny. |

Wow, that was fast! Thank you very much, that seems to work.
I'm just wondering how I should use my tv out now that it is disabled. Anyway, doesn't matter for now. |
