Gentoo on Apple eMac question.

I have read in quite a few places that XFree86 has trouble with the nVidia based, eMacs Have these issues been fixed ? Are there any problems with the eMacs that ship with ATI Radeons ? Are there any other Hardware problems using Gentoo/Linux on an eMac?

AFAIK There are some graphics problems with the radeon emacs.
