I am a big fan of the finger command and telnet. When I did the stage 1 install I Didn't get either one installed or setup?

Can anyone help me add the fingerd and telnetd. I like ssh but I really just want telnet and the finger command

um...have you tried:

Code:
emerge -s telnet

and

Code:
emerge -s finger

BTW, telnet is inherently insecure. If you're using it, you're asking for problems. You really, really, really should use ssh instead.

I just use telnet internally. Not connected to the internet. I believe I have tried the emerge -s finger and didn't find any thing?

Can finger be added to the portage tree?
