I emerged my firefox with the use flag ffmpeg so that it can handle many media file formats. And for a while it even supported flac and mp3. But since changing from libav to FFmpeg and back it doesn't work anymore. E.g. on http://kubbi.bandcamp.com/album/ember I'm not able to play music and the browser console gives the following error: | Code: | | Medien-Ressource http://popplers5.bandcamp.com/download/track?enc=mp3-128&fsig=d5812f46efb11595e4211f87b786b788&id=2609172490&stream=1&ts=1423252251.0 konnte nicht dekodiert werden. |
Translation: media-resource couldn't be decoded

are you entirely sure that your change libav <-> ffmpeg is the reason and not eg the update to firefox 35?
i was ahving the same problem for some time now and i think that it resolved after the update to 35, so there might have happened some involving change.
i never found the exact reason though.
for until then, you can workaround by disabling gstreamer in about:config. that will make bandcamp etc play through flash again.
