Thanks for the ebuild.
I have used rox for many years and this ebuild is a very good news |

I created an account just to express how important keeping rox-filer in the portage tree is!
The ROX file manager is probably my #1 favorite piece of software currently in the tree.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates it.
For one of my computers, I learned how to create a portage overlay just so I could install rox-filer. |

Need someone to fix rox, I suppose, but it looks like it's been left for the dead.

I've also been using rox forever, and intend to keep using it. As far as I know, there's no outstanding bugs outside of no new releases for some time.

Alas looks like another piece of software that's heading towards the bit bucket, which is a pity as it is one of the udisks-free filemanagers out there. Alas now I'm just using the udisks file managers (thunar, nautilus), it's more fun to use when dealing with a GUI and removable media... |
A few udev rules auto-mount and auto-open rox for me when any kind of removable media is inserted into my computer (CDs, sd cards, usb storage etc.). Udisks isn't necessary. |

I'm sorry it won't be me; wife just had open heart surgery and stroke and I'm happily busy with her. Someone else please do this little work with rox-filer. As my wife says, "It should be easy, it's not open heart surgery..." |

I made the required changes to the ebuild. Please check. Also, if you have access to an x86 box then please use the ebuild as app-misc/rox-filer-2.11 and either add ~x86 to the keyword list, or let me know - I will update the ebuild. _________________ emerge --quiet redefined | E17 vids: I, II | Now using kde5 | e is unstable :-/ |
