I've been trying to get photographs off a Windows 7 (Lumia 800) phone using mtp;
the phone is recognised, but as a music player, and there's no sign of the photographs
in the phone's filesystem. Does anyone know the layout of the Windows 7 filesystem,
or an app which would access the photograph's directory?
(Ubuntu 14.04 recognised the photographs at first, but hasn't done so on subsequent
attempts, so it must be possible.)
Thanks - Will
Followup: I shut everything down and rebooted a couple of times and uninstalled
mtpfs from Ubuntu and the Photographs subdirectory re-appeared; Gentoo thinks
the Lumia is a media player, but it's still possible to drag JPEGs across to the laptop. |
