|
I've installed steam-launcher using the steam overlay.
Now I can launch 'steam', click 'create new account' and it gives me a black box where the EULA is meant to be (underneath, it says "Please read this agreement in its entirety. You must agree with the terms of the Steam Subscriber Agreement to continue.")
Meanwhile, in the terminal I launched steam from, it's repeatedly saying this (about once every second it outputs the message 3 times)
Code: | Process 20995 failed to shm_open /jon-ValveIPCSharedObjects5
Process 20995 failed to shm_open /jon-ValveIPCSharedObjects5
/home/buildbot/buildslave_steam/steam_rel_client_ubuntu12_linux/build/src/common/html/chrome_ipc_client.cpp (240) : Assertion Failed: !"Failed to connect to master html process" |
I expect that's related.
Any ideas? |

I installed the fonts, and it still doesn't work.
(Couldn't find a clear guide on how to install fonts, but I've put them in '.fonts/' and in '/usr/local/share/fonts/steam/'. They show up in libreoffice, so I assume I've done it correctly) |
