Amule not working after last update?

After last system's update I found out that amule does not work -
Looks like it starts but finally it is stopped.
I am working with KDE.
Please advise if any log file can help figure out?

Finally I unmerged and re-emerge amule and now it is working...
Is there another way to work it out?
Where can I find log details of such problem?
