i've check my memory it's fine and i have the lastest bios upgrade. I think it's a bug in kde since it's when kde tries to do soemthing with html. I'm waiting for kde-3.1 to come out hoping that'll fix everything. Why aren't there ebuilds for kde-3.0 or 3.0.1 anymore. b/c both those versions worked, and i'd like to go back to them until 3.1 comes out

i found the ebuilds for kde-3.1 alpha
http://www.gentoo.org/~danarmak/kde-cvs.html
so, that's what i'm doing tonight, hopefully they'll work !! I heard they are really stable

well great, I installed 3.1 alpha and now everything kde crashes. I can't even log into kde. F this, I'm really getting sick of this unstable piece of shit

I don't know where to find hte kde 3.0.1 ebuild.
I have a kde 2.2.2 ebuild in my /usr/portage/kde-base/kde directory though |
