I wanted to install this program from github and I asked the person how to install it because it was giving me errors.
He said "In order to use my source code you must have qt5 or use qmake-qt5 instead of qmake before running make."
I asked how to get the command qmake-qt5
and he responded "sudo apt-get install qt5-default qttools5-dev-tools"
but I don't know how to get it on Gentoo..

Since Qt5 is not quite ready for Portage yet, one would normally venture beyond that, and, for example, make use of app-portage/layman.
For more in-depth directions, one could take a look-see over here: Gentoo Wiki - Qt/Qt5 _________________ Kindest of regardses. |

Thanks
It seems to be working, however the program is giving me errors when I do a $ make.
I will check back with the person on GitHub
