I have created a liceusb, I however get the cannot mount root file system, with only the internal hard disks listed as avaiable root partitions, if I disable sata then there are not devices at all.
I have a different configuration that can boot up the same machine using hard disk, this kernel can mount usb devices(no modules) while having the exact same options under usb support.
kernel config:

have you added a rootdelay to your bootloader's kernel line ? _________________ Defund the FCC. |
