|
|
Hi *.
I just hooked up second monitor to my laptop [displayport mst is working in 3.17, at last ]. I'd like to use it in portrait mode, while keeping first screen in landscape. Everything is working fine except subpixel rending. For now I have:
Code: | $ grep rgba /etc/fonts/local.conf
<edit mode="assign" name="rgba"><const>rgb</const></edit> |
You can image, fonts on the portrait screen are pretty ugly. Is there any way to separate "rgba" setting and keep one screen in "rgb" and second in "vrgb"? |

It is annoying, but this isn't possible to fix using today's software (what happens to the text in a window spanning 2 monitors?)
The least-worst compromise here would be greyscale antialiasing. |
