Hi *.

I just hooked up second monitor to my laptop [displayport mst is working in 3.17, at last :)]. I'd like to use it in portrait mode, while keeping first screen in landscape. Everything is working fine except subpixel rending. For now I have:
Code:
$ grep rgba /etc/fonts/local.conf
                <edit mode="assign" name="rgba"><const>rgb</const></edit>

You can image, fonts on the portrait screen are pretty ugly. Is there any way to separate "rgba" setting and keep one screen in "rgb" and second in "vrgb"?

It is annoying, but this isn't possible to fix using today's software (what happens to the text in a window spanning 2 monitors?)

The least-worst compromise here would be greyscale antialiasing.
