Hi all,
Recently I switched from KDE Workspace 4 to Plasma 5. Since then the suspend is no longer working. If I close the lid the system still runs. In the System Settings under Power Management the drop down list near the label "When laptop lid closed" doesn't show the suspend option.
This is working with the Workspace 4. Since then there was no change on the system.
According to dBus it should be possible and also allowed:
Code: | $ qdbus --system org.freedesktop.UPower /org/freedesktop/UPower org.freedesktop.UPower.CanSuspend
true
$ qdbus --system org.freedesktop.UPower /org/freedesktop/UPower org.freedesktop.UPower.SuspendAllowed
true |
My system is:
Code: | sys-power/upower-pm-utils-0.9.23-r2
x11-misc/lightdm-1.10.1 USE flags "introspection kde qt4"
kde-base/plasma-desktop-5.1.0.1
kde-frameworks/plasma-5.3.0

From the Plasma 5 session I am also not able to shutdown or reboot the system. So my guess is, there is something wrong with the permission.
Any hints where the problem could be or at least what to check?
Thanks for your help. |
