Hi,

I am running KDE + systemd, and I have some problems with pulseaudio, I think.
While I have proper output to the integrated Intel sound card; my Microsoft LX 3000 USB headphones are only listed in pavucontrol with a profile "Analog Mono Input" only, no output.
AlsaMixer shows both a speakers and a mic.

Code:
aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: CS4206 Analog [CS4206 Analog]
  Subdevices: 0/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 1: CS4206 Digital [CS4206 Digital]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: LX3000 [Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Where might the problem lie, pulseaudio configurations or an issue with the driver?

If it's the latter, how would I find out which drives I need?
(They have worked "out of the box" with other distros.)

Thanks!

-------------------------------------

Some more playing around with the USB ports (only after removing my mouse) I came across the following in dmesg:

Code:
cannot submit urb 0, error -28: not enough bandwidth

Installing the USB3 kernel driver [xHCI HCD] has solved this issue for me.

Please add systemd to your thread title.

As i gladly do not use systemd it makes a difference which topics i answer or watch, systemd thing vs stable things ....
