Hallo,

ein emerge -avuDN world zeigt immer wieder das gleiche Paket an, obwohl es ohne Fehler installiert wurde. Auch das Deinstallieren mit erneutem Installieren bringt keine Änderung.

Hm, klingt recht seltsam..
Magst du noch die Ausgabe von

dazu posten?
Ist /var auf einem separaten Laufwerk? Falls ja, wie wurde es mounted?

/var liegt nicht auf einem anderen Laufwerk. Es betrifft auch wirklich seit Wochen nur dies eine Paket :(

Kannst Du mal noch den -t Parameter beim emerge anfügen?
Also z.B.:

vielen Dank für diesen Tipp! Nachdem ich gst-plugins-base aus dem world-file entfernt habe läuft alles wie erwünscht. Trotzdem will mir das Verhalten nicht ganz einleuchten - aber was soll's :)

Ein "Danke" auch an alle Anderen, welche ihre grauen Zellen bemühten.

Keine Ahnung, warum er das dann immer wieder neu bauen wollte.

Wenn man allerdings ein Paket, welches nur als Abhängigkeit installiert worden ist manuell entfernt, sollte man es immer mittels einem world update wieder installieren, sonst wird man es nie mehr los, auch wenn es sonst nicht mehr gebraucht wird, da es ja im world file steht.
