Ah fair enough. Shame you're not on irc, as ferringb in #pkgcore raised something similar on the list a year or two ago. I was on a break from online nonsense for a while, so only saw it a few months later; but it reminded me of /etc/warning in update. As did your topic, albeit on a lower-level.
