I'm having an odd problem which I would guess is associated with xorg itself, as I've had the same problem with multiple DE's and WM's
The screen freezes. Maybe every half hour or so. If I switch to tty1 I see the message "reporting 2 4 17 22". When I switch back to tty7 the problem is gone.
I haven't found any other clue in the logs except this message.
Any ideas? |

What hardware and driver are you using?
Could you paste the exact error message with some context, that could help... _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

I'm using Nvidia drivers and the error message was as stated. There are no other messages. There does not seem to be a context in which it occurs. It is seemingly, completely random. If I had more to work with I may have figured it out already. This has been going on for over a year now. |
