Hi
I found some keen gdm themes and I was wondering if its possible to setup a gentoo system to boot right into a gdm prompt. I know you can set it up to work with xdm (rc-update add xdm default), but that doesn't work with gdm because there is no gdm script in /etc/init.d/ (at least that's what error message I got). Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Read the comments in /etc/rc.conf. Set DISPLAYMANAGER in there to gdm, and leave xdm in your default runlevel. Achieve inner peace. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
