I starting today can't check spelling anymore in evolution. I used to be able to, but after doing just routene matenance on my machine, nothing special, I can't spell check anymore.
It may have happened when i did emerge clean this morning cause of the update to kdelibs....?

Any ideas?
I tried searching, but most of the threads were problems emerging spelling packages.

I have determined that I am missing libpspell, but can't find it in portage. I can't start Abiword because it is missing libpspell. How can i emerge that?

Thanks,
Andrew

I have determined that libpspell is now missing and Abiword won't work at all now. Just curious as to why this left my system... and how to get it back?

Thanks

I fixed the problem by re-emergeing gnome-spell, aspell, and aspell-en.

thanks!
I will try that.
I upgraded to gentoo 1.4, so it didn't matter too much about evo, but I have been using sylpheed lately, I think I will go back to evo soon though. I liked having all my stuff in one place and being able to sync with handspring.

I tried to reemerge all my spelling libs, and then reemerge evo, but I must have missed one, or it was just a fluke.

Thanks

Andrew
