Gnome System Tools and Gentoo

Have the people @ Gentoo considered developing the Gnome System Tools and integrating them into the distro? I know that currently the Debian community is the most active since that distro, much like Gentoo, has no starndard set of GUI Config tools. I think this would be a perfect fit for gentoo and would really like to see the community help out with this great set of tools, originally developed by the guys @ Ximian. Thoughts anyone?
