Does anyone know if the sun blade 100 use standard cdrom drives, or whether they have cusotm firmware?
I'd like to replace the cdrom drive with a dvd/cdr combo drive I have.
The cdrom in the blade 100 is a lite-on, and my dvd-cdr is also a lite-on drive.
Regards

Chances are they do have some custom firmware on them, Sun seems to enjoy putting custom firmware on everything for whatever reason. But that's beside the point, any standard IDE device will work. Many people have IDE burners inside their IDE sparcs. |
