Hi,
I have tried this posting in the german forum. but still no answer. So lets try here.
I have doubled my disk with dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdb. Then remove hda and make hdb drive hda. Then I have removed any files from /boot and root partion.
After installing 1.4 on this disk with some XFS partitions everything works fine. But there are still some data on the 'old' disk in /.
So I connect the old disk to become drive hdb. So far so good.
But when I trie to mount an XFS-partition from this disk, then mount failed and I get the message 'XFS has duplicate UUID can't mount' in my syslog.
How to change this behaviour?
Hopefully thanks to everybody who can help.
