Can someone who has downloaded the new (9/22/02) version of the Unreal Tournament 2003 LiveCD tell me if it included the PCMCIA drivers?
Background: 1.4rc1's ISO image doesn't include PCMCIA drivers (even though the install doc mentions them). I need a version with them installed to connect to the Internet and complete an install.
If you can find a file called "ds.o" under /lib/modules/[kernel version] (ie, `find /lib -name ds.o`), that is a yes.
If you do find ds.o, a `find /lib -name prism2*` would also be useful as it means the linux-wlan drivers have been installed now, too. I can maybe make due with one of the pcmcia_cs stock drivers, but it's not a given.
Thanks,

The PCMCIA modules do not appear to be on the 4.1rc1 livecd image, or on the UT2003 demo image either. I tried both. It has been frustrating me, since I had trouble getting Redhat or Mandrake to install on my laptop and was hoping gentoo would work better. =] |
