Problem by first boot after install

Hi,

i have a problem.
The boot-process does not be complete. The process stop with follow message:

XFS: bad magic number
XFS: SB validate failed
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:03

I've installed Gentoo like the installion guide describe.
XFS-Support added in the Kernel.
What can I do?
What means this error message?

I hope someone can help me.

Boot again from CD.
Mount XFS disk.
Emerge the package wth XFS utils from portage.
Test the filesystem.
Maybe it's not that deadly as it sounds.
