XawTV New Version

Hello. I just wanted to point out that the XawTV in portage is rather old (3.73). If anyone has the know-how it would be great to get 3.77 working, as there are many new features. Thank you.

Don't forget that the fonts are now in a separate package now.

btw, xawtv 3.76 ... anyone did get the gl mode to work ? when i start xawtv -noxv -gl it crashes drirect after a black window pops up ..

I filed a bug report about the outdated ebuild a few days ago. At that time 3.76 was the latest version.

Your right, 3.76 is the newest version. I was looking at the http://bytesex.org/xawtv/changelog.html where it talks about 3.77. Sorry. Thanks for filing the bug report.

Is GL really a good mode? Does it even support hardware YUV color space conversion?
