Problem progressing from stage2 to stage3

I'm very new with gentoo. I came to stage 2.When I do "emerge system" to go into stage 3 I get the following error message:

I tried to find a simular post in this forum but no luck.
Can someone help me out? Thanks

Hi all,
I think I solved my own problem. I had the problem with Gentoo 1.2. I downloaded the stage3 tarball for pentium mmx for version 1.4, installed it and it works.
