I just did an emerge rsync and I gave a 'emerge -up world' to see what was available for upgrading and I saw things like Xfree and OpenGL i know that I don't want those 
i thought it was just a temporary bug op portage and did a

Why do you want tcltk if you don't want X? I think that's what's pulling X in.
