Tonight, performed a stage3 install, all went well...but when I rebooted my system hangs on the following kernel messege:
gresc: signal 7 sent to (init:1) UID(0) EUID(0), parent (swapper:0) UID(0) EUID(0)
Can anyone help?
TIA,

Just to be certain, 'gresc' doesn't have any typos? Did you enable grsecurity options in the kernel? _________________ Safety is my gaol.

| I had that problem and changing the Grsecurity level in the kernel to Medium fixed it. You can use the Gentoo CD to fix your system. Just boot from it, mount your partitions and chroot into it. |
