Gnome2 Text-box crashes

I am using Gentoo 1.4 and Gnome2, and whenever I used a Gnome2 app, like gEDIT or GnomeICU, and there is a box to imput text, and I click in the box, the app will segfault. Has anyone else had a problem like this?

yeah i had this problem. i think the gtk+-2.0.6-r1.ebuild is screwed, unmerge that and emerge gtk+-2.0.5-r2.ebuild, that fixed it for me.

maybe i should file a bug report.
