A few days ago there was a nice galeon-cvs ebuild that, when emerged, did a checkout of the galeon2 CVS tree and built it.
Today, instead we've got a ebuild that downloads a non-uptodate cvs snapshot and builds it.
I did prefer the old one... sincerely. Galeon-cvs should be cvs, not cvs-snapshot, that's a different thing.
How do I keep Galeon up to date now? I suggest a revert to the old one and maybe a new galeon-snapshot port or something. What do you think? _________________ IM me at tuxisuau@jabber.7a69ezine.org |

By the way... if you have the old ebuild... please post it here or post a link or something. I really want to update my galeon-cvs the old way. _________________ IM me at tuxisuau@jabber.7a69ezine.org |

I have galeon 1.2.6 and mozilla 1.1. Galeon is a lot more unstable than the previous version.
I'd gladilly compile a newer version. |
