First of all, apologies for being a ignorant noob over the last few days, I'm relativly new to linux and very new to sparc.
I'd like to knwo if anyone has any experience of using cyrus on sparc. It's masked but I wonder if anyone has had sucess compiling and using it on a sparc Ultra. I'm going to give it a go anyway but I thought I'd ask for any advice anyone might have. You may even want to warn me away from cyrus a an imap server full stop.
Thanks in advance. |

It's most likely because none of us have gotten around to testing it yet. Let us know how it goes, and if it works I'll add a ~sparc to it. |

I managed to get cyrus-imapd-2.1.15-r1 to compile along with cyrus-imap-admin-2.1.14.
One pitfall people may like to look out for is that if you didn't compile db4 with sasl in your USE flags cyrus-sasl won't compile. I had to recompile db4. |

Ok I've added a ~sparc to cyrus-imapd-2.1.15. cyrus-imap-admin-2.1.14 currently has a problem with the kerberos useflag disabled, so I've held off on keywording it for now. You can view info on the bug at https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41896 |
