Highlighting: Apr 30 01:07:08 thelittletemple kernel: NVRM: GPU 0000:01:00.0 is already bound to nouveau.

Oddly, Nouveau is competing with Nvidia.

As far as I am aware I haven't taken any actions to install Nouveau.

I have attempted to deselect Nouveau and apparently the atom isn't within my @world.

I can get into the Gnome environment by disabling gdm.service and starting gdm.service manually. However, I am now running X11 and not Wayland.

My make.conf VIDEO_CARDS is set to nvidia.

Ok, I seemed to have resolved the nouveau vs nvidia issue. I recompiled the nvidia drivers with the "dist-kernel" use flag. I am indeed using the distribution kernel. However, that has not resolved my issue:

I can confirm zink is not present in /usr/lib64/dri/zink_dri.so

Switching to Nouveau has resolved my issue. GDM loads without an issue and the system seems stable. There is some Nvidia probe that is triggering that I will need to figure out but the situation leaves me with a working computer. I will need to look into why the Nvidia-driver isn't working. I will mark this as partially-solved.
