Hi all
I am just getting started using the Mastodon social network. I decided to use Tokodon as client as it is the KDE one (and since KDE is my DE, less additional dependencies required).

The problem is that once I login to my account, every time I reopen it, it get stuck in loading:

If I remove the configuration files:
~/.config/tokodonrc
~/.local/share/KDE/tokodon/tokodonstaterc
I can re-open it, but of course I have to re-login and re-setup the application.

If I try to launch it from the terminal, I get:
Code:
~ tokodon %u
Detected locale "C" with character encoding "ANSI_X3.4-1968", which is not UTF-8.
Qt depends on a UTF-8 locale, and has switched to "C.UTF-8" instead.
If this causes problems, reconfigure your locale. See the locale(1) manual
for more information.
kf.kirigami: OverlayZStacking must be attached to a Popup
qrc:/qt/qml/org/kde/tokodon/content/ui/UserInfo.qml:101:21: QML Separator: Possible anchor loop detected on horizontal anchor.
kf.sonnet.core: No language dictionaries for the language: "en_US"
kf.sonnet.core: No language dictionaries for the language: "en_US"

How can I solve it?

Hello,

If I were you, I'll start from this error:

Code:
Detected locale "C" with character encoding "ANSI_X3.4-1968", which is not UTF-8.
Qt depends on a UTF-8 locale, and has switched to "C.UTF-8" instead.
If this causes problems, reconfigure your locale. See the locale(1) manual
for more information.

Could you please report here your locales in use ?

Code:
eselect locale list

As, maybe, your use flags and version of Tokodon ?

Regards,
GASPARD DE RENEFORT Kévin

I get this:
Code:

  [2]   C.utf8
  [3]   en_US.utf8 *
  [4]   it_CH.utf8
