It's kind of a weird setup I have. It may not be the best place to ask this question, but I believe it wouldn't really fit in any of these projects forums.
I have a computer running Gentoo and a Raspberry Pi running OSMC, I use KDE on Wayland with pipewire as my sound stack. I discovered that I could use OSMC as an Airplay speaker from my phone which works great. I also discovered that pipewire is capable of "streaming" the computer's sound to that Airplay speaker, it shows up in the sound menu of the computer, but when I select it and I try to play music no sounds comes out and I can only see a loading screen on OSMC.
Has anyone tried a setup like this ? What can I do to identify where does the problem come from (it seems like it would rather be my computer since it works when using my phone) ? |
