I am trying to set up gpg-agent forwarding from my laptop to my desktop over tailscale.
My desktop is running Gentoo, and the laptop is running NixOS, however I don't believe the distros are significant.

I have set up the two systems according to the information in the Gentoo Wiki, and also https://wiki.gnupg.org/AgentForwarding. I don't get any error messages when connecting, but if I try to authenticate anything, it asks me to insert my key but after inserting the key in my laptop it isn't recognised on the desktop.

I tried putting the key in the laptop and then running card-info - the key is recognised, and accessed without issues.

If you have managed to do this, could you please elaborate on the steps you took to make it happen?

TIA!
