When I run hdajackretask I get error 'no codecs found'
What exactly do I need?
Sound works fine, some channels are wrong, which I intend to fix with hdajckretask
Actually I have that fixed with .asoundrc and ttable but some apps are just ignoring .asoundrc, hence hdajackretask |

| I have the same problem - when I run hdajackretask, it shows me configuration window and on top it says "No codecs found. Sorry.". I have a sound card integrated on the motherboard, it is ALC892 and in the kernel I am using SND_HDA_CODEC_REALTEK built into the kernel (not a module). Does anybody have a clue, what to do? Thanks. |
