Current workaround:
Both emacs:29 & emacs:30 build here with one [gtk].
Defaulted to emacs:[!gtk]
Non xwayland environments redefine EDITOR variable
Problem remains 4 gentoo maintenance in terminal "su -" as it doesn't keep EDITOR variable value:habit switch here as customized command shortcuts are $EDITOR variable based.
Any idea welcome!
