Yesterday's brave-bin-1.53.104 just crashed and I had to revert to 1.52.129. But this morning's brave-bin-1.53.107 w/chromium-115.5790.40 runs fine. According to: https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/releases/ Release v1.53.107 (Chromium 115.0.5790.40) is in pre-release (neither beta nor stable), and Release v1.52.129 (Chromium 114.0.5735.198) that I was running yesterday is the latest stable.
Color me a bit confused. My preference would be to stick with known stable, but not behind the power curve. From now on I'll be checking

just cloned the overlay - now, even brave-bin-1.53.108.ebuild is marked as stable.
i assume the overlay maintainer is confused or overlooked

Timing is everything. I sync repos at 6 am EST USA from the GA Tech mirror.
