|
|
I added a new user using useradd, created their home directory, and all works fine when logged in and using gnome2 desktop except when I try to start gnome-terminal. The terminal window opens briefly, displays a command not found message (doesn't specify what), then dies.
Has anyone else experienced this?
edit: I forgot to say, I can use xterm no problem. |

you have to specify the shell in /etc/passwd for gnometerminal to work
eg. /bin/bash _________________ Mark Finlay - Gnome Hacker of Sorts
