'emerge alsa-driver' keeps ending with an error. I tried to 'emerge unmerge <old alas-driver>' then 'emerge clean' and tried to 'emerge alsa-driver' but alsa-driver-0.9.0_rc3 continues to fail. here is the output...

I have the same prob on my dual athlon mp system. I tried to set MAKEOPTS="-j1" in /etc/make.conf to aviod parallel makes altogether, but to no avail. Looks like the ebuild is masked now though, I'm sure a more mature ebuild will be released soon. |
