Just to narrow things down, does it work if you temporarily USE="-tcpd"? _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Hmm. Well, you might want to file a bug report, saying that that MySQL ebuild doesn't work with tcpwrappers on your system. In the meantime, you should be OK as long as you weren't relying on tcpwrappers for securing network access to MySQL. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Hi,
I had the same problem, so I unmerged tcp-wrappers merged mysql and then merged tcp-wrappers again (and got the new version) |
