I think it's nw interface and/or dhcp related, but give us a little more info!! :-)

Which startup script causes it? Is it net.eth0 or similar? What dhcp setting are in /etc/conf.d/net?

Raoqn, you're a person of few words!!! :?

Assuming you're using the standard net.eth0, at the very least post your /etc/conf.d/net - it might give me or others a clue as to what's happening...

Also, what does ifconfig show? Anything for eth0?

Also keep in mind many weird errors from dhcpcd are fine, so long as your network connection is healthy. You can check your network connection by either using it to verify that it is up, or you can issue the command ifconfig with the -a switch like so:

Code:
ifconfig -a

So long as you see UP and RUNNING then you are likely fine and should ignore the annoying messages. Check the build document for more information.

If you receive dhcpConfig warnings, don't panic; the errors are most likely cosmetic. Skip down to Network testing below.
