Just wondering if there's an ebuild for XFree86 4.2.1 and/or how I use that to install it. I usually just emerge things but that ones not showing up.
(I don't know how long ago 4.2.1 was released, the xfree site says it was today...) |

Yes, there is. Just go to

/usr/portage/x11-base/xfree/
|
and you'll find it. Additionaly, you can unmask the stuff in /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask and emerge it as usual -- beware, if it is masked, it is because there is a reason!
