You are absolutely right: Code: | $ grep man1/cp /var/db/pkg/sys-apps/fileutils-4.1.8-r2/CONTENTS
obj /usr/share/man/man1/cp.1.gz cd9f80a1d73678eed9ec911bdd08bb6c 1022809525
$ grep man1/cp /var/db/pkg/sys-apps/man-pages-1.52/CONTENTS
obj /usr/share/man/man1/cp.1.gz f80043cf8823aacbf5b25781803bc0c7 1028521233
$ md5sum /usr/share/man/man1/cp.1.gz
f80043cf8823aacbf5b25781803bc0c7 /usr/share/man/man1/cp.1.gz |
It's a conflict, and I must have emerged man-pages more recently than fileutils, and others the opposite. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

which is not cool at all. so we need to tell everyone to re-emerge all their packages after installing man-pages, just to be sure ? :)
imho the man pages packages should not be allowed to override an existing manpage... |
