space not enough,how to add more space......

when i install mozilla, system tell me :No space left on device.

i have a big boot partition -- i give it 1.5G, but now ,i know it's just need 150M space. so i want to let boot(it's in /dev/hda1) 150M,and get more space for use.

how can i do?

dev/hda1 1.5G is /boot
dev/hda2 512M is swap
dev/hda3 2.1G is /root

Hmmm you didn't say what file systems your using but I've yet to find a way of resizing partitions with out having formating them and losing the information on there.

But what you might consider doing is, deleting hda1, then creating the new boot partition at 150Mb and then creating a new partition with the space left over and using this to take some of the load away from the root partition..

For example if you're home directory is kind of large you can use this new partition (hda4 for example) for that, 'mount /dev/hda4 /home'... of course you'll have to copy across all the old information from the existing home directory on the root partition..
